LISA

(Sales Manager)

Lisa is coach and number one advocate for the Sales team. She has a long history in leading successful Sales and Client Services teams, most recently at Spark. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury and started her career working as a Solicitor before moving over to the commercial side.

 

MIKE

(Pioneer)

As managing director, Mike works across the business, both technical & client-side, and brings deep industry experience in the banking, telco, energy, retail, FMCG, and insurance sectors. Popular with clients, Mike is frequently commended for his collaborative approach and commitment to using analytics to drive business performance and improvement. 

RACHAEL

(Account Director)

Originally from the US, Rachael came to Datamine via London where she worked on financial trading platforms. Over the past four years she has brought that electronic platform expertise into her role at Datamine, helping clients develop web-based tools that improve their business outcomes. Rachael has a BA and a BSc from SMU in Texas, and a M.Ed in Adult & Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma. She is passionate about putting tools in the hands of clients so they can transform their business.

SALLY

(White Witch)

Often referred to as Datamine's 'White Witch' (due to many clients viewing her work as being “like magic"), Sally’s 30 years of experience in strategy, marketing and quantitative decision making ensures she can always be relied on to deliver extraordinary results. As a co-owner and director of Datamine, Sally continues to work with key accounts — contributing her extensive industry expertise to Datamine's banking, insurance, energy, retail, and FMCG clients. 

MATT

(Partner)

Matt was the head of client services at NZ Post before joining Datamine in 2009. Now a core member of the Business Development team, Matt manages many of Datamine’s key accounts and is a passionate advocate for using data-driven intelligence to identify and address business challenges.

BAILEY

(Account Director)

Kiwi-born Bailey came to Datamine from Sydney where she worked in the technology start-up sector. Bailey’s ability to meet corporate expectations and develop innovative client-focused solutions is second to none and she brings a wealth of experience in partnership and business development, consulting and technology to her role at Datamine. Bailey thrives on a challenge and forming meaningful relationships with her clients to deliver on solutions that make their business the best it can be.

EMILIE

(Account Director)

Originally from France, Emilie has an extensive background in category management and sales. She joined Datamine as a Consultant after five years at Nielsen (both in NZ and France) where she assisted clients in optimising their marketing strategies by providing data-driven insight & recommendations.

BRUCE

(Owl)

A skilled graphic artist, Bruce’s strengths are in creativity, data, and the delivery of complex ideas in a simple, effective and visual way. Formerly with Golder Associates, Bruce has considerable experience consulting within corporate environments — and is a highly valued Datamine Owl.

PIP

(Client Delivery Manager)

As Client Delivery Manager, Pip works to ensure exceptional delivery for all clients and has taken the Client Delivery team from strength to strength. A long-time Dataminer, Pip joined in 2012 and has worked in the marketing, strategy and delivery and implementation teams.   

DAN

(Owl)

Dan joined Datamine from Spark and has more than 10 years of experience in the telco, technology and software businesses. Originally from Northland, Dan is highly skilled in business intelligence and analysis and is passionate about the application of analytics to solve business challenges.

Courtney

(Owl)

Initially joining us during the final year of her BBus degree, Courtney is a Dataminer born and bred. Starting out in the support team she quickly moved into Owling, bringing with her a keen business mind and a passion for adding value to the solutions we deliver. Prior to joining Datamine, Courtney worked in recruitment at Massey University and interned with World Vision and Barak Investments.

ANDY

(Marketing Technologist)

Originally from the UK, Andy bridges the gap between marketing, IT and software and has spent over a decade in roles defining and delivering campaign management and marketing automation solutions in the telecommunications, airline and retail sectors.

Datamart Josh

JOSH

(Technical Operations Manager)

A UK native but now long-time Kiwi, BSc (Hons) degree holder Josh worked in Business Intelligence in Europe before first joining Datamine in 2015. After a short stint at SKYCITY to work on analytics and insight, Josh has returned to the fold to head up our Datamart and Ops tech team.

MJ

(Client Implementation Consultant)

Mary-Jane has worked extensively in marketing and analytics consultancy roles in NZ and Europe. A firm believer in the application of data-driven marketing solutions, MJ holds a Bachelor of Laws and Communications from the University of Waikato. 

JESS

(Owl)

Jessica joined us straight after completing a BSci degree in Information Systems & Computer Science. Originally from Palmerston North, Jessica moved to Auckland for university. With a technical background combined with a commercial mind, Jessica adds great value to the Owling team.

MICHAELA

(General Manager)

As General Manager, Michaela has her fingers in lots of pies. With a long history in the hospitality industry, running restaurants, bars and hotels, Michaela is a dab hand at working under pressure. She joined Datamine in 2010 and spends her days recruiting (we’re growing fast) and improving office life for the team — all the while keeping a close eye on finances and HR.
