Total retail spend in New Zealand for the 28 days ending 28 June 2017 was $3.5 billion — an increase of 0.2% when compared to the same period last year.   While this indicates a fairly static marketplace, the same cannot be said for online, which saw retail spending for the same period up 9.3% year on year at $348 million — with online Supermarket & Food Retailers propelling the growth (up 28% year on year).
