Our head office is a renovated Signal Box in Parnell, Auckland where this position is based. Our clients include many leading organisations across the full spectrum of industries, including utilities, telecommunications, FMCG, retail, government, health, financial services, insurance, and manufacturing.

We are proudly data-driven and we’re busy. Hence we’re looking for an analyst/statistician to join us in leading the pace in this fast growing industry. This role involves using analytical skills and statistical know-how to plan and complete data-driven business intelligence solutions. You will be working in teams with account managers and other analysts on a variety of projects and client databases. You will be comfortable in client-facing situations, and enjoy being an important part of the technical team.

You must have academic or commercial experience in a technical, problem-solving environment using statistical and analytical applications such as R to analyse large data-sets. Familiarity with relational database management and manipulation software, such as MySQL, is also desirable. You should have the ability to consistently deliver to specifications, often within demanding timeframes.

You will be keen and quick to learn and apply new knowledge and skills to solve a wide variety of business problems. It is essential that you can present results in a way that ‘tells the story’ and can clearly explain the solution to both technical and non-technical people.
