Technical Analyst / Senior Technical Analyst

Location: Auckland

The technical analyst or senior technical analyst role involves using analytical and computational skills to plan and complete data-driven business intelligence solutions. You will be working in teams with account managers and technical analysts on a variety of projects and client databases. A suitable applicant will also be involved in client-facing duties, and may take a lead role in the technical team.

Strong experience is required in a technical, problem-solving environment using data manipulation applications such as SAS, MySQL, SQL or R to analyse large databases. This includes at least two years’ experience of consistently delivering to internal or client specifications within demanding timeframes.

You will be keen and quick to learn and apply new knowledge and skills to solve a wide variety of business problems. It is essential that you can clearly present results in a way that explains the solution to both technical and non-technical people.
