Our head office is in Parnell, Auckland where this position is based. Our clients include many leading and emerging regional and global organisations across the full spectrum of industries, including utilities, telecommunications, FMCG, retail, telecommunications, government, health, financial services, insurance, and manufacturing.

We are proudly data-driven and we’re busy. Hence we’re looking for someone to help us build, maintain and use loads of data. This role involves using development and database skills to build on our current methodologies. You will be working in teams with analysts and account managers on a variety of projects and client databases.

You need to have at least ten years experience in a technical, problem-solving environment using databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle or SAS to develop large databases. Over four years experience in database management, manipulation and presentation software, such as SQL is essential, as is experience in some sort of sensible programming language.
A relevant degree level qualification or similar is good and Unix/Linux skills will enable you to hit the ground running.

You will be keen and quick to learn and apply new knowledge and skills to solve a wide variety of business problems. It is essential that you can clearly present results in a way that explains the solution to both technical and non-technical people.
