Leading Kiwi Company Celebrates Best Month in its History

New Zealand’s leading datamining organisation celebrated its best
business month in its 16 year history this July, indicating that
businesses are realising the value of having their hunches tested and
challenged with solid data.

“We’re prudently confident,” says co-owner Sally Carey. “While we
celebrated with an 80s power dressing lunch, we realise that times are
quite different for businesses now compared to the boom of the 80s.
We’re proud that our business is helping our clients spend their budgets
more wisely in a time when every cent is required to be accountable.”

Following the move to a larger premises, Datamine has added 5 new staff
in 2010 to the growing team, with plans to add another developer /
mathematician to its midst by the end of the year.

“It’s rewarding to see a company started in a spare room of my
Wellington flat now home to a talented, creative bunch of people who are
making a real difference in our client’s business lives,” says Datamine
founder Paul O’Connor.

Datamine use business intelligence to identify and address business
challenges. It helps companies wade through and interpret large volumes
of data, taking the guesswork out of business decision-making.
