Often referred to as Datamine's 'White Witch' (due to her work being described as “like magic"), Sally’s 30 years of experience in strategy, and quantitative decision-making ensures she can always be relied on to deliver extraordinary results. Sally is a co-owner and director of Datamine. Originally from the UK, she is a fellow of the UK Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing, and holds a BA in Systems Analysis and MBA from Bradford University.

(Sales Manager)

As Sales Manager, Christian works closely with our Account Directors, liaises with clients and supports Datamine's overall business strategy. Having held similar positions at Air NZ, Diner’s Club International, American Express (APX) and Chartered Accountants ANZ across Australia, NZ and the UK, Christian is well-suited for this versatile role. A self-proclaimed people person, his greatest passion at work is interacting with clients, particularly in helping them to grow their analytics capabilities and solve their most critical business problems.

RACHAEL

(Account Director)

Originally from the US, Rachael came to Datamine via London where she worked on financial trading platforms. Over the past four years she has brought that electronic platform expertise into her role at Datamine, helping clients develop web-based tools that improve their business outcomes. Rachael has a BA and a BSc from SMU in Texas, and a M.Ed in Adult & Higher Education from the University of Oklahoma. She is passionate about putting tools in the hands of clients so they can transform their business.

Since joining Datamine in 2009 from NZ Post, Matt has taken the lead on many of Datamine’s key accounts and is a passionate advocate for using data-driven intelligence to identify and address business challenges. Working with organisations at a senior level, he leads the transformation required to unlock the value of data. Matt has the experience and expertise to balance the technical, commercial and cultural considerations required in order to derive significant value from analytics.

JULIA

(Stategy & Improvement Manager)

Highly skilled in change management, Julia has previously worked in business transformation roles at Grant Thornton and Spark and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Honours. Julia joined Datamine in 2012 and manages the Strategy & Improvement team, overseeing the company’s strategic direction.

As managing director, Mike works across the business, both technical & client-side, and brings deep industry experience in the banking, telco, energy, retail, FMCG, and insurance sectors. Popular with clients, Mike is frequently commended for his collaborative approach and commitment to using analytics to drive business performance and improvement.

Kiwi-born Bailey came to Datamine from Sydney where she worked in the technology start-up sector. Bailey’s ability to meet corporate expectations and develop innovative client-focused solutions is second to none and she brings a wealth of experience in partnership and business development, consulting and technology to her role at Datamine. Bailey thrives on a challenge and forming meaningful relationships with her clients to deliver on solutions that make their business the best it can be.

As Datamine’s Programme Manager, Bruce’s strength lies in the delivery of complex ideas in a simple, effective and visual way, whether it’s building software or analysing data. Previously in a global role as UI/UX designer at Golder Associates, he also understands the issues that big organisations face. He’s passionate about solving actual business problems and ensuring there is a real impact – and making it easy for the people involved!

As Client Delivery Manager, Pip works to ensure exceptional delivery for all clients and has taken the Client Delivery team from strength to strength. A long-time Dataminer, Pip joined in 2012 and has worked in the marketing, strategy and delivery and implementation teams.

With over 10 years’ experience in Sales, BD and Account Management, Ukraine-native Kate is an integral member of the Owl team. She boasts an impressive international repertoire, with degrees in education, linguistics and literature, fluency in four languages and work experience from five countries. While working across various industries (most recently in professional services at KPMG), Kate has realised her love for building client and colleague relationships – people are her passion.

A self-described ‘systems thinker’, Manchester native Andy bridges the gap between marketing, IT and software. He has spent over a decade in roles defining and delivering campaign management and marketing automation solutions in the telecommunications, airline and retail sectors. Andy is particularly interested in helping clients step through the Marketing Automation minefield, making the most of the opportunities and overcoming challenges in their way.

Initially joining us during the final year of her BBus degree, Courtney is a Dataminer born and bred. Starting out in the support team she quickly moved into Owling, bringing with her a keen business mind and a passion for adding value to the solutions we deliver. Prior to joining Datamine, Courtney worked in recruitment at Massey University and interned with World Vision and Barak Investments.

Josh has 10 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics and holds a BSc (Hons) from Oxford University. He is currently heading up our Datamart and Ops tech team and is always on the search for the next complex campaign solution that can give clients that competitive edge. Josh is excited to continue expanding his team and help clients realise the numerous benefits a Datamart can bring to a business.

Emma holds a double degree of BCom and Bachelor of Consumer & Applied Science from University of Otago, where she majored in Economics and Design. Having started at Datamine as the Business and Sales Administrator, Emma has since taken on the role of Account Executive. She specialises in data visualisation and uses her design and economics skills to help her clients tell stories with their data.

Jessica joined us straight after completing a BSci degree in Information Systems and Computer Science. After deciding to pursue a career more focused on coordinating solutions for clients rather than producing them, she joined Datamine and has been invaluable ever since. With a technical background combined with a commercial mind, Jessica brings her passion for organisation and collaboration to Datamine every day.

As our General Manager, Michaela is the key to ensuring all our internal functions are optimally run. Having completed a Lion Nathan management programme, Michaela successfully ran a number of her own businesses, both in NZ and the UK, before joining Datamine in 2010. Her biggest passion at work? All things people – Michaela is constantly striving to develop and deliver growth the Datamine way, all while retaining our values, enhancing our culture and building internal capability.
